What was the challenge
Mediaan has been growing and this also means that their projects often scale, which leads to the staff on the project often scaling up and down. Mediaan’s challenge is that their scalability causes a big rotation in their IT staff. This does not only require different types of developers, but also flexibility for them.
Mediaan was in need of a partner that could help them with providing different types of developers and with the flexibility to scale up or down whenever needed.
The solution
Mediaan was introduced to Typeqast through their network. They had worked with another nearshoring company before, but felt a better connection with Typeqast due to their size and required attention. Mediaan got a bunch of CVs from Java developers and screened the Typeqasters, since they would become part of their teams.
They started with a large project and Medianers would often visit the Typeqasters to develop the partnership and get to know the cultures. Mediaan has been working with Typeqast since 2020.
The result
As a result of the partnership, Mediaan is now able to easily scale their IT staff up or down whenever needed. Since 2020, Mediaan has used the resources of Typeqast for already four projects. Typeqast understands very well what Mediaan needs at any point in a project. They are able to align quickly with Typeqast on the way of working.
The Typeqasters fit very well within the Mediaaners and it feels like they are part of the team. The partnership with Typeqast gives Mediaan a competitive advantage, as they are able to take on more projects with more flexibility.
